Sherry is a Christian mom who knows the importance of having children grow up in a church family. She holds bachelor and master�s degrees from WKU in elementary education and is a teacher in the Russellville City School system. At RCC she coordinates all children�s activities � Sunday School, Wednesday night classes, and Vacation Bible School � just to name a few. Sherry is always on the lookout for willing workers to help guide and direct the youngest members of our church family. |

The position of elder should not be one of control but rather one of service: the opportunity to serve God by serving God�s people. We must always witness by the life we live. To commit ourselves completely to living according to God�s Word and His will, that others may see God�s presence in our lives. We seek to serve by participation in visitation, prayer, teaching, etc. as God gives us talent and opportunity. |

To be a deacon is to serve. Our primary goal as servants of the church is to learn to love others as we love ourselves. Those others include you, our neighbors, in our community and beyond. Because of Jesus, we gratefully and gladly serve. We want to reach out and go about doing good, as Jesus did in his ministry to others on earth. The major areas of our service for the church are in worship, missions, fellowship, membership, finance, and property management. |
